What Your Cask Experience Includes Annual Visitation (yes, you can visit your baby) Each year, you’ll join one of our distillers for a private tasting straight from your cask. We’ll talk progress, personality, and next steps — whether that’s continuing the aging adventure or gearing up for bottling. Custom Aging Enhancements (optional, but oh-so-tempting) After your first annual check-in, you can choose to add flavouring staves — think French oak, cherry, applewood, and other charming characters — depending on availability. A little extra wood can be… transformative. Finishing Touches Near the end of the aging journey, you’ll have the option to finish your spirit in something special: rum, tequila, red wine, sherry — whatever intriguing casks we’ve coaxed into the distillery at the time. Bottle It Your Way Before bottling, we’ll do one final tasting to land on the perfect expression — cask strength or your ideal ABV. You can choose our signature cask program label or collaborate with our graphic designer on a custom design (includes initial concept + three revisions). And yes, you’re invited to roll up your sleeves on bottling day: empty the cask, fill your bottles, cork, label, box — the whole rite of passage. It’s as satisfying as it sounds. • Under 30 gallons: 75% deposit, remainder on bottling day
• 30 gallons and over: 50% deposit, 25% at the first anniversary, remainder on bottling day
• Includes 3 years of aging + cask maintenance (additional years: $250/year)
• Staves, finishing casks, and custom labels: optional add-ons
• Bottling supplies (bottles/caps/labels): billed by quantity used
• You own the spirit, not the cask — though you can buy the cask if you’re the sentimental type
